Done Waiting reported today that the former Andyman’s Treehouse venue will be reopening on December 23rd as The Tree Bar. In the meantime, the venue is getting some minor updates and interior renovations.
Back in August, The Treehouse abruptly closed with former booking contact Kyle Sowash making the announcement via Facebook. According to today’s news from Done Waiting, local musician Ryan Haye will be taking the helm at the new business.

Yeah they cut the tree down, going to put a plaque to Andyman on the stump. Kinda sucks. I’ll miss the tree, water dripping down it during rains, etc.
As much as I’ll miss the tree, it will drastically improve sight lines in that room.
RIP tree, you were a great photo shoot backdrop.

P.S.- I was at both Phantogram shows – they are kick ass live and great people. They played a tree room for 30 people the first time and now look at ‘em! That photo is dope Katie!

Thanks, Vuch! That was the first piece I did for my blog. They were so gracious even though I flubbed the interview so bad. Ed Luna took the photos. :) Looking forward to seeing shows at The Tree Bar again!
