The first of ten murals are being installed in the Short North this week, with a goal of celebrating the bicentennial birthday year of Columbus. The project is known as “10x10x10″, representing the 10 murals, 10 art galleries and 10 show openings. Each of the murals features work created by local artists, including:
- Heather Nibert
- Jason Morgan
- Marty Husted
- Amandda Tirey Graham
- Sid Chafetz
- Larry Hamill
- Michael Secrest
- Mark Thomas
- Stephanie Rond
- Cory Piehowicz
The murals are being applied to the sides of buildings in a photograph-on-vinyl format that will be temporarily on display for the next 12 months.

Thanks Scott, that is a good article you linked to.
Glad they are staying up that long. Also, there are plenty of buildings in the SN with blank walls, or canvases, that could use a sprucing.
Saw some of these yesterday, and really like them!
Glad they are already making plans for new ones when these are due to come down next year.
The more art we can get around town the better.
Here is an image of Rivet’s mural by and with Cory Piehowicz.

It can be found at 721 N. High St. (Two Fish Bistro building and previous home of Mahan Gallery). The mural faces the parking lot.
Nice!
