After financial woes, labor disputes, a cancelled Picnic with the Pops schedule and a truncated 2008-’09 season, CSO has rebounded with a flourish. The 2009-2010 season has defined a new era in symphony history with a fantastic schedule, impressive guest artists, increasing ticket sales and ambitious goals for the future.

Its leaders insist, however, that the largest performing-arts group in central Ohio is on the mend and won’t end the year with a deficit.
