A new farmers market will be starting up their inaugural season this Thursday afternoon in the OSU campus area. The Market at 15th & High is being presented by The Wexner Center and Wayward Seed Farm. It will run every Thursday from 4 to 7pm from May 27th through October 28th on the outdoor plaza in front of the Wexner Center. The market will be the largest of its kind in the University District and will feature locally grown produce and other items from around a dozen farmers.
More information can be found online at wexarts.org.

Thanks for sharing the details of our new market. We’re really excited to get started and hope that you’ll join us every Thursday this season.
This sounds like it will be well received. I know I’ll be there every week!
I like it! I need another local place to buy my beets :))
I can’t make it for the kickoff week but I’m really excited for this market!
I’m always a fan of more farmers markets and a really, really big fan of Wayward Seed, but want to ask a logistical question. For someone who is not very familiar with the campus layout, where is the best place to park for this market?
I’d say the easiest place to park would be the parking garages on High Street next to the Ohio Union, or you could park a few blocks south at the Gateway for $1 per hour.
There is a metered “lot” right across on 16th. You have to go up a street and come south on Pearl to get to it. There are several of these mini-lots along High where they have closed off east bound access from High. Just follow the blue parking lot signs and come down Pearl.
Most of the east side streets will have meters as well, just watch the signs for restrictions and time.
