Black Friday has come and gone, Small Business Saturday is over, and Cyber Monday has expired. But if you’ve still got items remaining on your holiday shopping list, fear not — Columbus has several shopping events planned over the weeks between now and Christmas that will help you to secure the most unique, inspired, locally-crafted, artisan, special presents for your friends and loved-ones.
Below is a list of eight of those events. Mark your calendars!
Winterfair – December 5th-7th – 10am-8pm
The three-day Winterfair festival takes place at the Ohio Expo Center and features one of the largest selections of arts and crafts vendors from around the state. From oil paintings to clay pottery to jewelry to photography, there’s something to be found here for all types of art aficionados.

Holiday Hop – December 6th – All Day
Gallery Hop turns festive once a year for the Holiday Hop edition of the event, and the Short North pulls out all the stops to make it a unique shopping experience for everyone. Stores feature amazing window displays, performers add music to the streets, and Santa will be on-site at Studios on High from 2pm-4pm. You can even score a free “sleigh-ride” from ECT Pedicab from noon to 10pm to easily traverse the neighborhood.

Holiday Hop Pop-Up Shop – December 6th – Noon-10pm
Don’t miss this special artist/craft show taking place inside The Garden Theater in The Short North during Holiday Hop. Vendors include Poor Sparrow, Wholly Craft, Glitteracy, The Catbird Seat, Igloo Letterpress and many more. There’s even a gift wrapping station so you can get your purchases ready to go under the tree immediately!

Crafts Gone Wild – December 13th – 11am to 5pm
Crafts Gone Wild returns to Wild Goose Creative, and will feature a wide assortment of local artisan vendors, including Candle with a Cause, TL Yarn Crafts, What the Rock?! and many more! The show features not only established vendors, but also an assortment of up-and-coming artists who are brand new to the scene.

Festivus at 400 West Rich – December 13th – 11am-6pm
Festivus might traditionally be about the airing of grievances, but you’ll find nothing to complain about at the 400 West Rich version of the event. The ongoing 400 Winter Market gets a special boost from the addition of holiday shopping, open art studios and additional exhibitions for this installment.

CIF Holiday Open House – December 13th – 2pm-5pm
The Columbus Idea Foundry is throwing open their doors to the public for a special open house event that will also feature local makers, crafters and vendors in addition to facility tours, demonstrations and more!

Moonlight Market – December 13th – 6pm-11pm
The Moonlight Market on Gay Street takes place indoors in December at the Residence Inn hotel and inside a pop-up retail space at 90 North High Street. Grab a drink at the hotel bar to sip-and-shop, and browse products from over 45 vendors including Robert Mason, The Columbus Barrel Co, Lather Rinse Repeat, Mad Macs and more. There will be a gift wrapping station here too!

Holidayville – December 14th – Noon-4pm
Over 25 merchants and shops in Clintonville are getting into the holiday spirit for a Sunday afternoon with Holidayville. Check out what’s being offered at stores including Weiland’s Market, Alison Rose, Eco Flora, Wholly Craft, Mozart’s, Crimson Cup and more!
