Of all the many libraries on Campus, only one carries a good selection of beer. Visiting the slyly named Library Bar, just north of Lane Avenue, makes patrons sound book-smart even if they’re only there to impair some brain cells.
Standing in stark contrast to its glittery South Campus brethren, the Library Bar’s beige and brown exterior couldn’t be much more bland. Two slender windows peep open like a cat emerging from a nap, but behind the bright orange bar sign lies one of the most charming, old-school drinkeries on Campus.

This place shows up as an actual library on that walkometer website. Of course good libraries have pool and foosball tables.
I wouldn’t call it a rarity like the article says. Nearby Larry’s, Little Bar, and Scarlet & Grey have similar ambiance.
