The restaurant formerly known as The Inn Between announced today their official name change to The Hungry Soul Cafe. Located at 30 South Young Street in the heart of Downtown, the restaurant has undergone several changes in 2012 by new owners George and Anita Keller.

The name change is a playful take on the owners individual backgrounds, and will also be reflected in some updates to the menu.

“George is of Hungarian decent and I’m, well, soulful,” said Anita. “The idea is to share some of our down home favorites such as collard greens, grits and gravy, cabbage rolls and chicken paprikas, while still offering long standing favorites like the Rumplemeyer or the Inn Between Salad.”

New weekly specials include a traditional Hungarian dish on Mondays and a traditional Southern style dish on Wednesdays. The Hungry Soul Cafe is open for breakfast, lunch, happy hour and dinner, Monday through Friday from 7:30am to 7:00pm.
