The Indianapolis Star is the largest newspaper in the state of Indiana, and they’ve just posted a travel piece today encouraging their readers to come visit the beauty that awaits in German Village. The article mentions all of the standard staples of GV: Katzinger’s Delicatessen, The Book Loft, Max & Erma’s, Lindey’s, Franklin Art Glass, the German Village Guest House, and more.
As everyone is fully aware… German Village is a neighborhood full of cool hidden secrets. Does anyone have other neighborhood recommendations for our Indianian visitors?

Do I?
From German Village; Brewery District, Downtown (Gay St. and Town Franklin… oh yeah, Arena District), Olde Towne East (Bryden, the conservatory, Parsons ave.), Bexley (Main St.) Short North, Harrison West (W 3rd Ave.), Victorian Village (Neil Ave.) Grandview (Grandview Ave.), Peach District (King Ave.), OSU (both campus and High St.), Old North Columbus (High and Summit around Hudson and/or E Oakland), Upper Arlington (Arlington & Waltham, streets along the country club), and Clintonville (High and Indianola). King-Lincoln (Hamilton Park and Long St) and Franklinton (Broad @ Hawkes for food options) have a few things, though they still need some work before showing them off.
Uh… what?
I think he listed places that he thought it was OK to take “road trips” to from German Village… And I’m assuming “road trip” doesn’t involve a car. Anyhow, that was another nice article for Columbus. You can’t go wrong living in a city people want to come to visit.
