Walker reposted this over at Donewaiting and one of Josh Matko’s best friends posted in the thread LOL!
I’m telling ya, this guy is the Paul Bunyan of the 21st century.

in any case, zach, congratulations are in order. i am proud to call you my friend.
I like that I have the unique CU status of Dagwood Champion in my profile.
Thanks Nelli. Glad to see you posting on CU!
As promised to myself and my girlfriend, I have been mostly vegan since Saturday afternoon with the exception of some goat cheese.
oh i thought you were about to propose to her.
If only we were in Boston, we could hit up Eagles Deli and try the “Challenge Burger”…
5 lbs. of beef
20 slices of cheese
20 slices of bacon
5 lbs. of fries
half a pickle
soft drink
not possible.

Ya know.. I think I might be down for a road trip. Biggest pieces of food you can buy at a restaurant? Yeah.

I am starting to get kind of grossed out with the gluttony, but I guess the pope says there are more deadly sins these days.
Seriously – 6 lb burger?! Where’s the morals? F*cking swine.
Sorry – ending hippy rant in carnivore thread.
I could eat one of those godzilla burgers!
The new cafe on Broad and High, Lola’s has a gagwood/dagwood sandwich.
i would pay admission to watch you guys eat one of those hamburgers.

No problem. Kitsune posts a lot of her restaurant reviews here on CU, but her blog is filled with all sorts of awesome recipes and foodie adventures that are worth reading. :D
I met the City-Wide Dagwood Champion at the Lucky Stride; Josh Matko. He ate it in 6 minutes. He was racing in the race as well. But I beat him at that.
Just City-Wide? I’d think he’s the World-Wide Dagwood Champion (if we’re just talking about Ohio Deli anyway).
Give credit where credit is due.
