The Candle Lab is Expanding to Pittsburgh

The Columbus-based Candle Lab is making its second jump outside of the Central Ohio market with a new retail store coming soon to the Lawrenceville neighborhood in Pittsburgh. Candle Lab opened in Cincinnati last year, marking their first non-Columbus location.

“Lawrenceville is very similar to Over The Rhine in Cincinnati and the Short North from about five years ago,” said Candle Lab owner Steve Weaver. “There are a growing mix of incredible restaurants, drinking spots, and independent retailers.”

The new store will be located at 4411 Butler Street in a building that was formerly home to a neon sign shop.

“We have a lot of work to do to reinvent this old space but we have a great crew building it out and the store will have a refreshed design and a huge bar located right in the middle of the space as the focal point for the store,” said Weaver.

Candle Lab is slated to be open in Lawrenceville by November 15th.
