    The Best of Powell

Powell is a small-but-rapidly-growing suburban city on the north side of Columbus, and over the past several years it has become a hotspot for new local restaurants and businesses. We asked Columbus Underground readers about their favorite new additions to Powell in our Best of 2015 survey, and they responded by nominating the Prohibition Gastro Lounge. This new bar and restaurant technically opened in late 2014, right in the heart of Powell near the intersection of Olentangy and Liberty Streets. The bar features a wide variety of classic and signature cocktails, while the food menu focuses on upscale comfort dishes.
