The Angry Baker to Open Second Location on King Avenue

The Angry Baker has announced the opening of a second brick and mortar location in the recently-vacated Till Dynamic Fare space, as posted on Facebook earlier today:

“Excited to finally announce Angry Baker #2 is on its way! No other details other than that, and this cool video. Sad to see one of my favorite restaurants leave but very excited for what the future will bring at our new location!”

The video shows owner Vicki Hink wiping away the window signage from the 247 King Avenue space that’s long been occupied by Till Dynamic Fare and Jewish deli Izzy & Mo’s. Former owners Magdiale Wolmark and Cristin Austin are in the process of relocating to Detroit to continue with other restaurant ventures.

The Angry Baker’s original Olde Towne East bakery and cafe opened back in 2011 at 891 Oak Street, with a renovation completed in 2014. Hink has been serving her popular scratch-made bread, cookies, pies, cakes, and cafe offerings ever since.
