Tai Tiki Closing, to be Replaced with New Craft Bar & Kitchen Concept

After just one year of operation, Tai Tiki Polynesian Grill is closing their doors at 1014 North High Street in the Short North. While the closure is effective immediately, the space will not sit empty for long. A brand new restaurant concept called Julep is scheduled to take its place later this summer.

“We’re excited about the new use, which will have a focus on local spirits and local Ohio craft beers,” said Mike Fitzpatrick, President of Elford Development, which owns the Fireproof building where the restaurant space is located.”This will be a great fit for our building.”

Julep is the latest concept from Fadi Michael and Sam Michael of Michael Brothers Entertainment Group. The brothers’ other concepts include Formaggio, Park Street Cantina, and the new Granero Lounge.

Additional information about Julep is expected soon, and the restaurant and bar is slated for a late summer launch.
