Are you a Taco Fan? Do you consider yourself an expert on the local taco scene? You should know that Columbus Underground is bringing back our popular event Best Bites: Tacos for the third year in a row! We are gathering the best tacos in the city and we want you to be the judge in picking the best! On Thursday, August 10 from 7 p.m. – 10 p.m. at Mapfre Stadium, we will be celebrating all things tacos and giving you a chance to vote on your favorite of the night!

Condado Tacos offers and endless amount of possibilities! With their make-your-own taco style menu, you could eat a different taco every night of the week. That doesn’t mean they don’t have recommendations, though! At Best Bites: Tacos, guests will be able to try one of Condado’s own crafted taco recipes. Their Sweet Lucy features a flour soft and corn hard double decker shell with guacamole and queso holding them together, the option of jackfruit or pulled pork, Condado BBQ sauce, jicama + cabbage slaw, smoked cheddar, and the choice of cilantro lime aioli or dirty sauce. Located in the heart of the Arena District, Nada dishes up guacamole and salsa to share, plus punched up tacos and mac n’ cheese. You’re encouraged to wash is all down with house margaritas and local craft brews. At Best Bites: Tacos, guests will get to experience a brand new taco from Nada at the event, The Hot Chicken Taco! What is a hungry taco lover to do when there is no time to assemble a meal? Grab a snack that embodies the deliciousness of their favorite food! If you are looking for Authentic Mexican food, look no further than Dos Hermanos. They pride themselves on serving our city with authentic Mexican meats which are cooked right on their food truck and North Market stand! Tickets are available now! General admission tickets are $30 and include unlimited access to the event, including taco samples, live entertainment and a specialty cash bar featuring Corona, 1800 Margarita and Riunite Sangria. A limited number of Early Bird Tickets are available for $35, which give guests early access to the event (and tacos!) at 6 p.m. for an extra hour of taco time!
The 2017 edition of Best Bites: Tacos will feature bite sized samples from: Mi Tradicion, Local Cantina, Sunnyside Tacos, Nada, Condado, Balboa, Dos Hermanos, Tostadalucious, Yabos Tacos, Cajohn’s Fiery Foods, Pretzels with a Twist, Cosecha Cocina, plus more to be announced before the event!
A portion of the proceeds from all ticket sales will be donated to a local charity. The Columbus Underground Best Bites event series been raising money for local charities since launching in August 2014!
