Three stores in three years. That’s the current rate of expansion for Sugardaddy’s Sumptuous Sweeties as they announce their latest store opening this summer at Easton Town Center.

“Easton is an exciting shopping destination with 21 million annual visitors and a plethora of great brands,” said Mark Ballard, Co-Founder & Co-CEO at Sugardaddy’s. “It’s the right next step for our brand.”

Sales have rapidly grown at Sugardaddy’s existing retail stores located Downtown on Gay Street and near Polaris Parkway, as well as online at www.sugardaddys.com.

“This expansion to Easton gives us the opportunity to further leverage our talented team, our production kitchens, and our operational infrastructure that we’ve carefully built over these past six years,” said Ballard.

All of the standard Sugardaddy’s offerings will be found at the new Easton store, including freshly baked brownies, blondies, truffles, biscotti, cheesecakes, ice creams and more.

“We will also test and offer new flavors from time to time such as our Toffee Bacon Brownie and new products such as our Brownie Carmeled Apples in the fall,” added Ballard.

Ballard, along with Co-Founder Tom Finney, are currently hiring for the new location as well, seeking qualified candidates to serve as store managers, shift leads and part time retail associates.

“If anyone is interested in some extra hours, come join us,” said Ballard. “We welcome retail experienced professionals who have a passion for food and desserts!”

Sugardaddy’s Sumptuous Sweeties is planned for opening at Easton Town Center in July of 2011. More information on the grand opening will be announced at a later date.

This is bad, bad, bad … for my growing gut. Have to be out at Easton regularly for ice skating and will have trouble resisting temptation.

Congrats to Mark and Sugardaddy’s. Their success is fantastic and well-earned.

My kids are excited! We made a trip downtown for a show at the palace theatre and stopped by Sugardaddies. They loved it, but we only go downtown about once a year… so they are happy to hear they are opening a location closer to us!

Easton is getting better at bringing the local flare to the masses, I would really like to see them reconfigure the section located by Nordstrom area to be local flare section.
