Speed Design Looks to Match You and Your Project to a Designer

If you are looking to remodel or redecorate a room in your home, it can be a daunting task. In our At Home series, we feature people with beautifully decorated homes, but there are many others who get stuck, have too many ideas, or haven’t gotten past an inspiration notebook. That’s where Speed Design can help. Cheryl Beachy Stauffer of Crimson Design Group, LLC wanted to host an event that will connect people wanting to complete a design project with a designer. This event will take away the intimidation of hiring an interior designer by giving you the chance to meet with the designers in an informal setting.

Following much of the same idea as a speed dating or networking event, you will have 7 minutes to meet with each designer. You can present your project and find out more about each person’s business, philosophies, ideas and personal touch. This opportunity will give you a chance to find the perfect designer for your project. Make sure to bring along photos of your projects, paint and fabric swatches, furniture ideas, anything you have that will help you convey your project to the designers. Speed Design is September 8, 2011 from 6-9pm at Hamilton Parker Company, 1865 Leonard Ave.
Columbus, OH 43219. The cost is $10 per person or project. To guarantee your space, please RSVP here by September 6. All proceeds will be used to support local breast cancer programs.
