Show Your Love for Downtown Restaurants 2009

By: Walker

The Downtown Columbus Blog has posted up a plethora of youtube videos yesterday (couldn’t you guys have spaced them out a bit?) featuring various restaurant owners downtown giving their schpeels on their businesses. The videos include Tim from Tip Top, Carlos from El Arepazo, Palmo from Cafe Napolitana, John from Little Palace, Chris from Jack’s Diner, Jeff from Cafe Brioso, and Joey from the San Francisco Oven.

  • I love all my Gay Street foods, but seriously, without Brioso I’d be the most lost.  All the coffee and just right food a man can handle, hand made by some good people.  I’m there 3-4 times a week.
Due Amici is great for after work and Tip Top is great for lunch and getting away to talk to someone.
Seriously, for a street that had so little 5 years ago, this is good stuff… and more still to come.

  • Jeff from Brioso is great! He did a coffee tasting at the Wild Goose Creative New Year’s Festival that was amazing. He knows his stuff.

  • I like the videos posted all at once, I don’t have the time [or memory] to visit the blog every other day or week or so to check them one at a time.

Love to see features like this become a regular thing, maybe show some of the food and the facade of the business [for people that don't already know what to expect?]
