Short North to eventually leave NCR program

I thought I’d throw this out here because in the last discussions between the SN and the city, it is clear that the Short North area will at some point in the near future be the fist ever “graduate” of the city’s NCR program.

What this means is, I assume (because I didn’t actually ask), the various low-interest loans and blocks grants for exterior improvements that are available from the city to entrepreneurs/businesses/property owners in the area will no longer be available. So, if you have a business idea and want to locate it in the SN, now is the time to be working out your plan and attempting to secure some of these free monies because they just might be gone in another year.
