it's not the great lakes or anything, but if you consider italian village, victorian village, harrison west & dennison place as one area w/ shared needs and concerns, sure, the short north is a region.

also, yes, nice EX500. are you not running mirrors? it looks cleaner but that would drive me nuts.

I will defer the explanation about what the SNF does, etc, to Dragona, who is a far more capable representative than myself.

I would also like to echo captain janks' sentiments concerning the need for dedicated motorcycle parking, although I suppose this thread is not the appropriate place for it.

so yeah! permanent shit to chain your bike to! good times.

I believe the Short North Foundation is the new name for the Short North Neighborhood Foundation.

Do they work in conjuction with SNBA at all? I have only been a member of SNBA since July, so I am not sure I have ever heard their name mentioned.

Hold on, what is the Short North Neighborhood Foundation exactly? I haven’t heard of them til now. Are they like the German village Society or Olde Towne East Neighborhood Association? If so, they need to get some bike racks up too.

It would be nice if a couple of these were put in our area. There are some who bike to Monkey's Retreat and chain their bike to the tree out front.

yea! something i can attach my u lock to and it’s not a trash can. i actually like that they aren’t on high st. i saw a bike in the gateway district that was locked to an overflowing bike rack get it’s front wheel rammed by a bus.
