Shop Local Holiday Guide: Lottie Da

By: Walker

The final two weeks of holiday shopping are upon us! That means that if you still have gifts to buy for friends and loved ones, your time is winding down. In order to assist, we’ve reached out to a wide variety of local shops, stores, and boutiques to find out which of their three most popular “must have” items can still be found on their shelves.

Next we have 3 suggestions from Amy Routh, Owner of Lottie Da, which opened earlier this year in Clintonville.

“Fidoodle City & Country block sets – This is the kind of toy that makes you wonder if it was designed more for the parent or the child!.  These block sets are made of Baltic birch, and are hand screened with modern, artful illustrations of country and city scenes.  Flip them over and the pieces fit together to create a cool puzzle scene.  The packaging is almost as cute as the blocks themselves.”

“Whimsy Ranch Tutu – Whimsy Ranch tutus are the ideal gift for young girls age 2-6.  Each Whimsy Ranch design is put together to create a whimsical story. Hand crafted using such things as hand stamped appliques, recycled vintage bedspreads, curtains, aprons and other unique textiles from the past, each tutu is created as a one of a kind piece that is sure to make anyone smile. Perfect for the girly girl who likes to stand out in a crowd, these designs will be the perfect addition to your little girl’s closet.”

“Film Monsters vintage camera hoodie and wooden play camera set – Say cheese!  This is the cutest hipster boy outfit I have ever seen!  The hoodie is from from Film Monsters and is available in brown, black and grey.  Pick up a handmade wooden camera to go along with it for hours of pretend play!  Oh and don’t forget the outfit completer is always a cool hat.  This fedora  by Knuckleheads and is also available in the store.”
