It was announced a month ago that Rosendales would be undergoing a revamp, which included the conversion of the ground-floor of the restaurant into the new Rosendales Modern Bistro, while keeping the upstairs reserved as the more traditional upscale Rosendales dining experience. The new configuration is launching this weekend and the new online menu includes everything from Bison Meat Balls to “Neo” Fish and Chips to Deep Dish Pizza to Pistachio Creme Brulee.
Anyone planning on checking out the new offerings this weekend?

Now THAT is a menu that I’m excited to sample!
Good price points and variety.
Yeah, I’m looking forward to trying it out. I’m ashamed to admit that I haven’t been to Rosendale’s yet, but am a big fan of Details. This looks like a nice middle-ground between the two with a couple of unique twists thrown in.
oh wow, yeah. that really looks worth going across the river for! I haven’t been back to details/rosendales since Chef Drew left.
Tonight– Had “Ohio Mix” salad and burger and shared an appetizer Buffalo shrimp (5 huge filling pieces on a small plate). My meal was about 20 bucks total. Salad was good but teeny tiny (wouldn’t order it again- a very expensive side salad lettuce/dollar-wise). Burger was “gourmet” and juicy. All-in-all, definately worth going back.
My interest…let me show you it. I’m pretty pleased by the stuff on that menu and especially the prices.
Now who wants to take me to dinner?????
I keeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeed!
Looking forward to giving it a shot soon.
We are going this evening, but we have reservations upstairs. The bistro menu will have to wait for the next excursion.
Hopping on a Wednesday night. Over 75% full when we left ~8pm.
A good casual menu. Most things were good or better. Cheffy touches abound which makes this a good deal relative to another restaurant that I shan’t name. I will also point out that 3 of us had a bill (minus the bottle of wine) for more and more varied food that was less than for 2 at that other place.
What ticks it over for me is the wine list and somm. Had a ’89 Cahors which is something you just are not going to find anywhere else in town.
I do hope the menu takes a few fixed points and then revolves a lot more seasonal things and daily specials. That would take it to a level ensuring our more frequent business.
