Rise & Dine Rebrands to Sunny Street Cafe

Rise & Dine, formerly known as Peach’s Rise & Dine, announced today that they are renaming again to become Sunny Street Cafe. The name change is meant to emphasize their lunch offerings.

“Our consumer research tells us that Rise & Dine generally connotes breakfast to most people,” said chief operating officer Joe Deavenport. “This means our brand must communicate clearly to consumers that our concept specializes in lunch just as much as breakfast.”

The complete rebranding is expected to take place during the first half of 2010.

The chain first entered the Columbus market in early 2007, and later moved their HQ from Florida to Worthington. There are currently 15 franchised locations in Ohio, Texas, Utah and Missouri. They currently have plans to open 15 to 20 new restaurants in Canada by 2012.
