Rio Fresh Cafe Opens in Old Phatt Taco Space Downtown

After Phatt Taco vacated the space at 50 N. High Street, it sat vacant for awhile. Now, a new business has come on the scene: Rio Fresh, offering organic breakfast and lunch items. It opened on Wednesday, February 14.

The Rio Fresh menu offers breakfast and lunch sandwiches, smoothies, salads, and their current specialty, french toast. While they have seating for roughly 30 people, the owner said their main pull will likely be grab and go orders and quick lunch stops.

Rio Fresh is open daily from 7 a.m. to 4 p.m. Those hours may extend to 7 p.m. as the owner is considering adding dinner after the restaurant is well established.
