Men’s Shop Righno Expanding from Indianapolis to The Short North

Columbus native Corey Bee left the city four years ago to cut his teeth in the world of retail and fashion in Indianapolis. Shortly after arriving at The Arts Institute, he launched Righno, a men’s contemporary fashion online store, and grew it into a brick and mortar space just outside of Downtown Indianapolis last year. This fall, he’s ready to make a return to Columbus with the opening of a second Righno location on the northern end of the Short North.

“I actually wanted my very first store to be in Columbus, but I looked up to a lot of boutiques there and wanted to be sure of the dynamics and aesthetics of the brand,” explained Bee. “It’s an eclectic mix of European, Australian, California and New York styles, but not too trendy… I like to call it a shop for anyone to come into.”

In addition to men’s clothing, Righno will include a wide array of lifestyle merchandise including home goods, candles, hair products, magazines, plants and more. The store will be located in a former office space at 22 East Fourth Avenue, across from the Short North Post Office.

“The space has lots of character and is walking distance from everything,” said Bee, noting that he plans to build out tables, racks, shelving and all of the decor for the new store. His target opening date is October 1st.
