My wife, Maggie (age 8 Border Terrier) & I stayed two nights last September 2008 in one of the dog friendly cabins at the Inn on the way back from doing a Kentucky Bourban Distillary self tour around Bardstown and had a terrific time. The first evening was a Spanish food & wine dinner with the Owners in attendance (who are very hands on and cordial). Any meal you partake in, including the breakfast, is gourmet. We highly recommend the Inn Complex.

And, Cedar Lake is nearby within walking distance plus plenty of hiking trails.

PS: We drove the backway from Bardstown KY to Logan OH and stopped at a couple Ohio Wineries near Ripley when we crossed the Ohio River.

Nice photos, Merc. We didn’t tour the gardens since we weren’t staying here as guests, but it looks really nice. I think we’ll be back here soon. :D

I like it there quite a bit. They have some nice gardens and probably do a better job than anyone in Columbus at using local ingredients. Nice place. .
