Wolf’s Ridge Brewing is introducing new bottles, and a new pastry chef. Aaron Clouse, graduate of the French Pastry School in Chicago, joined Wolf’s Ridge after serving as Pastry Chef at Refectory. On June 27, Wolf’s Ridge will have their first ever bottle release. Dire Wolf, Dire Wolf One Line, and Dire Wolf Canibus Mexicus will all be available for purchase. Hoof Hearted Brewing will also be releasing a take-home version of two of their popular beers; Musk of the Minotaur IPA and South of Eleven Double IPA will be available in cans this month.

In other beer-related news, The Daily Growler in Upper Arlington has debuted their Crowler machine. The Crowler, a growler-can hybrid, purges growlers of CO2 before sealing, allowing the beer to stay fresher for much longer than a standard growler fill.

The Comfy Cow, a Louisville, KY-based ice cream company, will now be available at all Columbus Whole Foods locations. Signature flavors like bourbon ball, salted caramel, and black raspberry chip are up for grabs.

Donatos Pizzeria has been inducted into PMQ Pizza Magazine’s Pizza Hall of Fame. The Gahanna-based chain has expanded from it’s original south Columbus location to nearly 200 shops in six different states. Hall of Fame inductees must have been in business for at least 50 years, and developed a reputation as a landmark community restaurant. Brenz Pizza, a North Carolina-based chain, has opened at 1551 Lennox Town Lane. The specialty pizza joint does dine-in, delivery, and carryout.

Toledo-based Barry Bagels has opened their first Columbus location, at 5760 Frantz Road in Dublin. The chain serves multiple varieties of bagels (including one for dogs), sandwiches, soups, salads, and baked goods. BIBIBOP has opened a new location on 6977 E. Broad Street. This marks the fast-casual Korean chain’s fifth Columbus restaurant.
