Project Update: North Market Renovations and Relocations

In addition to the expansion of The Barrel & Bottle, there’s a whole lot of other changes currently going on inside The North Market. The big renovation project that we first wrote about back in July includes the installation of new ventilation systems, which means that many merchants are relocating and upgrading their spaces in the process.

Keep in mind that work is still ongoing (pardon the dust!), but you can get a look at some of the current changes in the photos below, which includes — North Market Spices has moved to the old Expressly Market Bakery space; Jeni’s Splendid Ice Creams has moved into the old Heil’s Deli space; Pistacia Vera is opening in the old North Market Spices space; Expressly Market Bakery has moved into the old Pure Imagination Chocolatier space; Nida’s Sushi is in the process of moving into the old The Source by Wasserstrom space; Best of the Wurst has moved into the old Pam’s Market Popcorn space, Pure Imagination Chocolatier has moved into the old Jeni’s Splendid Ice Creams space; Pam’s Market Popcorn has moved into the vacant space formerly home to Mozart’s Bakery; and The Source by Wasserstrom has moved into the former Best of the Wurst space.

The North Market remains open through construction with normal operating hours (much of the work takes place overnight) so feel free to stop by and check out the progress for yourself.
