Portico Coffee Shop has Closed

The Portico cafe opened last summer as an extension of Voda Emporium, located at 85 Parsons Avenue. Voda closed their doors awhile back, and sadly Portico has followed suit.

The news of their closure closely follows that of the nearby Urban Spirit cafe, which ceased operations due to a decrease in business largely caused by the Interstate 71 construction project.

Regardless, the neighborhood surrounding Portico continues to thrive and grow with new businesses The Tavern, Upper Cup Coffee and Old Familliar Barbershop having opened in Olde Towne East within the past year.
