West Virginia based Pies & Pints has officially expanded into the state of Ohio by opening their first location at The Shops at Worthington Place (formerly the Worthington Square Mall). The new restaurant offers 36 craft beers and 16 specialty pizzas to mix and match.

“Pies & Pints is gourmet pizza done very differently with signature style and distinctive flavor combinations paired with an extensive offering of craft beers,” said co-owner Rob Lindeman. “Diners in Columbus are in for a real treat when they find themselves enjoying this favorite American tradition at a heightened culinary level.”

Pizza toppings range from cuban pork to thai shrimp to red grapes and gorgonzola cheese. The menu also includes sandwiches, salads and desserts. The beer list includes many Ohio brews from The Columbus Brewing Company, Elevator, Thirsty Dog and Great Lakes Brewing.

“All of our beer servers will have to pass the test for certification given by The Craft Beer Institute,” said Lindeman. “Our Cicerone and Certified Beer Server titles designate a person with demonstrated expertise in beer who can guide consumers to enjoyable and high-quality experiences.”

Pies & Pints is located at 7227 North High Street in Worthington. They’re open Sunday through Thursday from 11:30 am to 9:30 pm and Friday and Saturday from 11:30 am to 11:00 pm.
