Oh God Please Like Me Climbs to Top Spot in iTunes Comedy Charts

If you missed your chance to hear comedian Laura Sanders at her send-off show I’ll Leave You With This performed with Mike Meyers, Kamari Stevens and Brooke Cartus back in September at the Garden Theater, fear not! The album she recorded that night dropped on iTunes today and has now climbed to the Number One spot for the Top Albums in Comedy.

The nearly hour-long album, Oh God Please Like Me, holds twenty-two bits of sharp witted and laugh-out-loud comedy. Her comedy covers all subjects, and included on the album are gems such as comparing sex to an all-you-can-eat-buffet and mashed potatoes, being dressed for getting bizness done, playing it cool when you find out your birth control is free, and much more, all told through her calm and dry delivery style.

Sanders has been featured on Fox’s LaughsTV, Chicago’s Comedians You Should Know, LA’s Hot Tub with Kurt and Kristen, Bloomington’s Limestone Comedy Festival, Wilmington’s Cape Fear Comedy Festival, and more. She and writing partner Lisa Berry have created videos that have been featured on Funny or Die, BuzzFeed, Ryan Singer’s FlickMyClip festivals, and can be seen as a regular part of the sketch channel iFriendsandMy.

OhGodPleaseLikeMe-albumAfter her show last fall, Sanders packed up and moved to New Orleans to grow her comedy in a new city and has since performed in Viceland’s Flop House recording, airing in March. She is also scheduled to perform at the Joy Theater on March 4, 2016 as part of the Stand-Up NOLA show with Matt Owens, Chris Trew, and others. Kamari Stevens, who opened for Sanders’ I’ll Leave You With This sendoff show will also perform.

Oh God Please Like Me was recorded on September 1, 2015 at the Garden Theater. Mixed and Mastered by Dan Wilburn at Jewel Street Sound. Cover photo by Megan Leigh Barnard. Cover art by Laura Sanders.

Individual tracks of Oh God Please Like Me are available for $0.99 and the entire album is available for $9.99. Buy online at iTunes, or visit LauraSanderscomedy.com.
