Office Suites Concept Coming to Hilliard and Westerville
Indianapolis-based Elevate Office Suites is expanding into the Columbus region with plans to build new office buildings in Hilliard and Westerville.
The Hilliard proposal calls for a two-story, 36,000 square foot building on the northwest corner of Britton Parkway and Davidson Road, just west of I-270.
Work could start as soon as November on the project, according to a press release, although the Hilliard City Council and Planning and Zoning Commission still need to sign off on the plans.
“I’m very excited that Elevate Office is considering Hilliard for its new location,” said Hilliard Economic Development Director David Meadows, in a statement. “These office suites will provide the space and resources needed for small businesses and entrepreneurs to grow their ideas and create jobs in our community.”
The Westerville building is proposed for the northeast corner of Altair Parkway and Meridian Way, close to the intersection of Polaris Parkway and Cleveland Avenue. It would also be two stories and clock in at just over 36,000 square feet.
That proposal was reviewed conceptually by the Westerville Planning Commission in July. A representative of Elevate at the meeting said that tenants at the company’s other office suite locations — there are seven in Indiana and three in Texas — include graphic designers, artists, therapists, tech service companies and architects.
Both proposed buildings would feature around 150 small office suites along with a variety of shared spaces like conference rooms, a kitchen and a coffee bar. Leases are month-to-month and include property taxes and utilities.
