TIM REVELL DISPATCH
Nida’s Sushi, owned by Chris and Nida Perry, served only sushi when it opened in 2001 in the North Market.
Nida, a native of Thailand with education and experience in business, had learned to make sushi in California and Columbus before joining her husband in the restaurant venture in his hometown.
The Perrys relocated the sushi stall — and gradually enlarged the menu — after acquiring Best of the Wurst. Among the top additions at Nida’s have been Thai dishes, including a very good pad Thai ($5.95), which is stir-fried with shrimp, chicken, fresh bean sprouts, rice noodles, egg, green onions, peanuts and a sauce that hints of seafood.
