Early this morning, the National Hockey League and the National Hockey League Players’ Association reached an agreement on the framework of a new Collective Bargaining Agreement, which could bring an end to the 113-day NHL lockout.
The agreement must still be drafted and approved by both parties, but it should mean the return of The Blue Jackets in Columbus for a shortened season. Details of remaining games should be announced within the next few days.

I am sure many if not ALL arena area business are breathing a sigh of relief, almost..
I’m just glad hockey is back. I’ve been watching college hockey..
I need hockey so bad right now. Although, i have to admit, at this point I was kind of hoping the season would be lost. We could get yet another slap in the face by NOT finishing last and getting Mr. McKinnon as the #1 draft pick. I’m not sure how deep the pool is this year so maybe it won’t be a total loss…..or we will just finish last and I will have nothing to worry about…….except losing the lottery….again.
