Neighborhood Launch is shifting gears a bit with their latest development announcement. This new nine-block residential neighborhood was originally slated to contain a total of around 300 condominium units in mostly two-to-three story townhome-style structures, with a total of 74 of those units currently completed.

Today, Neighborhood Launch has unveiled that they will be anchoring the northern end of the development on Long Street with two new five-story luxury apartment buildings facing Long Street, each of which will contain 130 units. The luxury apartment units will be a mix of one and two bedroom floorplans with balconies and underground parking facilities.

These apartments add to the growing list of new Downtown rental developments, including 100 apartments down the street at The Atlas Building, 102 units at the nearby Discovery District Commons development. New residents in all of these new developments will be able to take advantage of new Downtown amenities including The Downtown Hills Market and The Grass Skirt Tiki Bar, both of which are expected to come online within the next few months.

Construction on the new Neighborhood Launch apartment buildings is expected to begin this Spring with a grand opening planned for Summer of 2013.
