Need help with a story about upcoming City Hop

By: John Ross

I’m doing a feature story about next weekend’s City Hop, and in addition to the basic overview, I’m trying to get a sense of what it’s like to live Downtown. (I lived Downtown last year, and retain mixed feelings about the experience.)

These condo projects all look great, but is there enough infrastructure (grocery stores, bars, restaurants, buses) to make living in one worthwhile? Do people feel they’re priced appropriately? Are they as nice as advertised? Do you get enough space for your money?

If you’re living in one of the Downtown condo projects, I’d love to use you as a source. All I’d need is about 10 minutes of your time (either today or Monday), nothing too rigorous.

If you’re interested, please email me at jross@columbusalive.com or ring me at 614-461-8738. Thanks much!

  • In the words of your signature…”blog blog read my blog blog blog blog”. ;)

Your questions are actually my motivation for blogging. So many people ask the same things and I feel like that uncertainty is holding some of them back.

I’d be more than willing to be a source!

  • Hey Jon, if you want…I can connect you with a bunch of downtowner’s who’ll give you their perspective. I think you already know mine. :-)

  • Uh… Dawon… this post is from 2007. ;)
