This video has been passed along to me via email approximately 30 times in the past 3 days. If you haven’t seen it yet, check it out. Was filmed all around Columbus. How many landmarks can you spot?

Amazing! Great video and great band. I may be behind the times but I have never heard of The Receiver and will be looking into more works by them, and not just because they filmed in Columbus.
Not sure about their influences, but I immediately thought of Death Cab. Are they just a 2-piece band?
Very nice video. Nice to see such talent in the local scene. Looks like the video is doing quite well on YouTube since being put up a few days ago. 1500 views. 4 1/2 stars and 70 positive comments, some from Norway!
If this doesn’t win the DiscoverOhioFilm video contest, it will speak volumes of the quality of content in the state.
This Receiver video is awesome. Zach and I were watching it and we both were like, “is that NAT??”
Nat is a great local musician. He plays bass with Wing and Tusk and formerly with Pirate.
The Receiver have been around for a few years. Casey and I became friends through the school or music when I first moved to Columbus. It’s great to see their second album coming to fruition.
Thanks everybody for the warm feedback. And yeah, we are a 2-piece. Josh Rea (singer for Wing & Tusk) co-directed this with Vital and they did a really good job. Thanks, Walker, for posting this up. We owe you!
ps. this is Casey (singer/bass player for The Receiver)
The Receiver–Great video and interesting concept. Also, Check out the video YOU SAID by Antonio Giovanni and Andrew Hamilton of Columbus, Ohio. An emotional story of an untold, ever-growing social epidemic in Middle America. Check it out at http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=TZWlpvmI9F0

Not the type of music I normally listen to but still a cool song and video.
Yay Receiver, and great job by everyone at Vital Film Works! Just for the record, Nat has never actually stolen anything (unless you count my heart…)

Ohio’s Got TALENT!!!
This is very well done and I knew that I knew the guy from somewhere. Pirate of course! The bassist.
FYI: They’ve got a CD Release Party at Skully’s on May 8th! :D
