More Office and Retail Coming to Grandview Yard

Nationwide Realty Investors (NRI) has announced the latest new addition to Grandview Yard – a two-story, 32,000-square-foot building which will hold office and retail users. The new building will be located at the northwest corner of Yard Street and Junction Way.

Groundbreaking is scheduled for January, with the first tenants scheduled to move in sometime in the fall of 2018.

Columbus Obstetricians-Gynecologists, Inc. will be the largest of those tenants, having committed to occupy 10,000 square feet of space on the second floor. No announcement was made concerning other tenants.

“We were attracted to both the energy and growth at Grandview Yard,” said Mark VanMeter, COO of Columbus Obstetricians-Gynecologists, in a statement. “We have a strong presence in Downtown and on the west side, and the demographics of Grandview Heights are a perfect fit. Having the opportunity to build and design space specifically for us, guarantees a superior work environment for our staff and doctors, and a first-rate office for our patients.”

The new Columbus Obstetricians-Gynecologists location will replace the company’s existing office at Mount Carmel West, in Franklinton. The full service hospital at that location is due to close in late 2018, when inpatient operations will be transferred to a new hospital currently under construction in Grove City.
