    Snow White is now playing at the Park Street Theatre. Enjoy the orchids at the Franklin Park Conservatory, and plan your Valentine’s Day. See a collection of Chinese art at OSU Urban Arts Space. Join the Creative Control Fest at the Columbus Museum of Art for an artist’s talk with Cameron Rowland. Little Shop of Horrors will be closing soon at Shadowbox Live. The Salty Caramels play Natalie’s Coal Fired Pizza. Hedwig and the Angry Inch plays at Gateway Film Center as part of Cult 101. Go try the food at Ye Asian Bistro.

    The Amazing Cat Show returns to Franklinton at 400 West Rich. Stop in the STEAM Factory for a special event, also with cats. Truck Driver plays Joe Wolfle and Johanna Breiding’s Art Opening with Special Host DJ Chris Sherman @ Rehab Tavern. Ohayocon begins at the Convention Center. Yarn It and Haberdashery hosts a White Elephant Party. CATCO presents Goldilocks and the Three Bears. My Neighbor Totoro shows as the Ghibli Studio movie at Gateway Film Center through the weekend. Taste the first squeeze of Nugget Nectar at Yellow Brick, and take home some cool art. Hammond Harkins Galleries celebrates their 20th anniversary and kicks off the celebration with a big show with works by artists Griffith, Hamilton, and Robinson. Catch Bob Marley at the Funny Bone. Glass Axis opens a new gallery exhibition: Fragile Fashion. Columnist Connie Schultz is honored at an event by ProgressOhio. It’s Grand Piano Night at the Refectory. The Kitchen hosts a New Year, New You dinner party. Woodlands’ 6th Annual Grateful Dead Tribute is happening at Woodlands Tavern. Join the CSO for the Klezmer Showcase at the Southern Theatre. Check out a scandalous comedy roast battle show at The Shrunken Head. The Nest puts on a unique storytelling/comedy/improv mashup show. Dance to hip hop at Granero Lounge with Sonny Campbell. Nite Owl Theatre presents JURASSIC PARK at Grandview Theater & Drafthouse.

    Saturday
    Rivet opens their newest group show, The Visceral Hand, focused on traditional print making. Winter Hike #2 is at Sharon Woods Metro Park. The Comfort Food Cruise begins in the Hocking Hills Region. If you’ve been missing The Room, it picks back up at The Drexel. The Lincoln Theater hosts another PBJ & Jazz. Celebrate Civil Rights all weekend with the Ohio History Center. The Martin Luther King branch of the library hosts an event to celebrate Martin Luther King, Jr. Zauber Brewing hosts its 3rd Anniversary. Dr. Bob Tesla presents Attack of the Octopus People.

    Sunday
    Catch rock ‘n’ roll bass player Tommy Stinson at Big Room Bar. Get your Ohio Shorts entries in to the Wexner Center. Check out the Columbus Weddings Show. Watch a free showing of Academy Award winning documentary, “Born Into Brothels-Children Of Calcutta’s Red Light District“. Winter Hike #3 takes place at Prairie Oaks Metropark. The Columbus Symphony’s Concerts for Kids presents Peter and the Wolf. Go to a rally about saving healthcare.

    Monday – Martin Luther King, Jr. Day
    The 32nd Annual Martin Luther King, Jr. Day Birthday Breakfast takes place at the Convention Center. At 4pm there is a march and program to celebrate Martin Luther King, Jr. and kicks off at East High School. The Shepard Branch of the libraries is hosting an MLK event. Poet Reginald Dwayne Betts performs at the Peggy R. McConnell Arts Center of Worthington.
