    Mega Weekend: Boos, Brews, Pirates, Assassins, and More!

    Is fall really here? Can it even deal with summer just refusing to go away? Yeah, it’s been hot and you probably wished for a pool, but luckily this weekend will cool off. Come enjoy coffee experiences on Saturday night at the Coffee Celebration Under the Stars. Get your tickets for the Combustion Brewery + DK Donut mashup event. Tickets for Sunday’s Coffee Fest are sold out and there will be no tickets at the door. Housekeeping update: The Columbus Underground event calendar is being upgraded with new features and will be back with full functionality this weekend.     Cartoon Crossroads Columbus begins and goes through the whole weekend with special events and more. Junie B. Jones the Musical continues at the Children’s Theatre. Gateway Film Center is screening a specially edited version of Black Sabbath: The End Of The End. Women in Digital holds a grand opening for their new office. Enjoy wine & cheese at Camelot Cellars. The new AR Workshop in Worthington hosts their grand opening. Learn the traditions and customs of henna and its important cultural meaning at the Ohio Craft Museum. Head to Kentucky for the debut of Mermaids and Pirates at the Newport Aquarium. The North Market’s new Festival for Good begins and goes through Saturday. Powell has their Oktoberfest. Watch Cloudy with a Chance of Meatballs outdoor at Polaris. Opera Columbus presents Britten’s The Turn of the Screw. Columbus Modern Dance Company has a performance at the Idea Foundry. Kareem Jackson is spinning tunes at Little Rock. There’s the ALL NEW! Fritz The Nite Owl presents Godzilla (1956) at Studio 35.

    Come to the Columbus Coffee Celebration Under the Stars. The Midwest’s Premiere Gaming Expo, GDEX 2017 begins and goes through Sunday. Columbus Commons hosts their Harvest Fair. St. James Tavern has their Grand Reopening Party! Check out the Buckeye Brawl LAN party at the Ohio Union. Run with your four-legged friends at the 5K for K9s. There’s a Craft Market at Tremont Center. Wolf’s Ridge celebrates their four year anniversary with a party and a bottle release. The Gateway Film Center’s HOOT features Pirates. Practice writing with inspiration from spiritual guides. There’s a MicroEats Fest happening on the near east side. Go try some beers at an event in Delaware.
