    Mega Summer Weekend 2015 – Vol. 5

    Ahhh the weekend. And this is a weekend with something for everyone! An awesome free event tonight with the Opera, the Arts Festival, outdoor movies, Belle & Sebastian, outdoor shopping events, sports, Park Street Festival – I won’t go on and on here, you can see below and pick the best things you want to do. Have fun! We still have ticket giveaways open for Jane’s Addiction, and Flogging Molly. Shadowbox Live is looking for artists for their next iteration of Gallery of Echoes.

    Thursday
    Tonight, join Opera Columbus for Undercover, a special free event that features jugglers, stilt walkers, free appetizers and drink specials. Buyer and Cellar is sure to lighten your mood, catch Andrew Levitt (AKA Nina West) starring in the show by CATCO. It’s the final weekend for the thrilling production of Thrill Me at Short North Stage. You have a couple of weeks left to see Best of 2015 at the Ohio Craft Museum. Join Easton for Food Fest, a celebration of food. Join Renaissance Hotel for Day of Discovery, a special event on the rooftop patio featuring food trucks. Cirque du Soleil’s tent is still in town with KOOZA! Challah/Fetty’s Street Food have a Pop-Up at Land-Grant Brewing Company. Columbus Landmarks Foundation invites you to a special event at The Jack. Wild Goose Creative is hosting a special dinner, MAIZE: Cocktail Hour and Pop Up Dinner by Isidora Diaz. Camelot Cellars has a magic show. Chef Bill Glover pushes the boundaries of music and food at FM: Food + Music at The Commissary. ONCE continues on Broadway at the Palace. See Columbus Clippers battle Syracuse Chiefs at Huntington Park. Actor’s Theatre continues Captain’s Blood. Little Rock Bar hosts the Songwriters’ Speakeasy. Brothers Drake hosts Restart House Music. Gateway Film Center is showing Cloudy with a Chance of Meatballs, as part of their free Book to Film Series. Check out Creekside Live in Gahanna, or Summer Fridays at the Statehouse, or enjoy Jazz Under the Stars. Glass Axis has a special event for Father’s Day. Hammond Harkins Galleries displays Old Wood & Ancient Haunts: New Works by Linda Gall. Franklinton Fridays are back. Park Street Festival begins and goes through Saturday. Hubbard Mastery School will be selling parking if you need a close and convenient spot! Granville hosts their Art AffairThe Vanderelli Room hosts GameShow. Spoon plays the Newport.
