    Mega Summer Weekend 2015 – Vol. 17

    Thursday
    The Arch City Comedy Festival starts today. The Homeport Gallery opens a new exhibition, Passages: Bridges to the Future, a collection featuring Creative Women of Color. Whole Foods has opened their new store at Easton and there are some unique features to check out, plus get the September exclusive Darista Dips flavor Chocolate Coconut Almond. Those with kids can check out some of these kid-friendly restaurants. Have you tried the Hai Poké Popup in Oddfellows? Celebrate Oktoberfest Week at Hofbräuhaus Columbus. If you’ve taken the ‘Which U.S. President are You?’ quiz and got Abraham Lincoln, go find out more about how you two are alike at the Old Worthington Library. FemmeFest kicks off.     The Greek Festival begins Friday and goes through Monday. Madlab continues Clowntime is Over. Have you tried Trapped Columbus yet? Friday is the final day for Crave’s Chef’s Menu week. The North Market has artwork by Catherine Bell Smith on view. Go to the WCOL Country Jam. Enjoy the Ohio Cup Vintage Base Ball all weekend. Gateway Film Center begins another Columbus Documentary Week. Kids can learn about worms with Lucky’s Market. See Convergence: Christopher Burk and Jacci Delaney with Cody Heichel and Natalia Arbelaez at Brandt-Roberts Galleries. Columbus Commons has a free concert with Rusted Root. Actors’ Theatre continues The Miser in Schiller Park. Bossy Grrls Pin Up Joint hosts a Burlesque Rock Off: The Beatles vs The Rolling Stones.     Fashion Meets Music Festival is happening in the Arena District Saturday and Sunday, and check out the after parties at Park Street Complex. Bike the CBus kicks off in front of the Lincoln Theater. Heatwave dance party celebrates 4 years. Take your friends to The Chamber Escape Room. The Ohio Renaissance Festival begins. Canal Winchester’s Labor Day Festival begins. What the Rock?! is hosting Girls to the Front, a benefit for FemmeFest. Explorers Club opens their new spot at Zauber Brewing. Genoa Park hosts the Soul Food Festival. Shop the First Annual Historic Dublin Street Bazaar. Help GEMS raise money during an ice cream social at Lucky’s. Enjoy Gallery Hop in the Short North and park quick and easy at the Hubbard Mastery School to help fund school projects! Get Right is going down at Skully’s. Brew Yoga returns at Modo Yoga. Studio 35 hosts a Starship Trooper & Rhinegeist Beer Tasting. See the 84th Welsh National Gymanfa Ganu at Southern Theatre. Columbus Clippers play the Toledo Mud Hens. There’s a Rasta Revival at Brothers Drake Meadery. Columbus Crew SC battle Dallas FC at Mapfre Stadium. Fear the Walking Dead continues.

    Monday – Labor Day
    Bexley Pizza Plus celebrates 35 years with a party and $1 slices! The Hills Market Worthington has their annual Ohio Hog Roast. The Columbus Clippers close out their season with another game against the Toledo Mud Hens and it’s also Dime-A-Dog night. Enjoy the day! Greek Festival is open it’s last day. Catch Counting Crows: Somewhere Under Wonderland Tour with special guest Citizen Cope at Lifestyle Communities Pavilion. Drexel is showing the Ohio State vs. Virginia Tech season opener for free. Upper Arlington has their Labor Day Arts Festival. Find the treehouses in the parks. It’s the last day for Zoombezi Bay!
