    The Chintz Room has been celebrating their first birthday all week with specials. Available Light Theatre opens Dedalus, A Portrait of the Artist. It’s the final weekend to see White Noise at Hammond Harkins Galleries. It’s opening night for the Columbus International Film + Video Festival‎ with Krisha at the Drexel. Yoga Six has their grand opening in Upper Arlington. There’s still time to see the Scary Plants at the Franklin Park Conservatory. There’s a couple of events at COSI, After Dark and a conversation at WOSU for New Paths After 50. Pecha Kucha hosts their 35th event at the new Columbus Museum of Art. Hear John Lowe, CEO of Jeni’s speak at Wealth Summit. CCAD hosts visiting filmmaker Steve James. Go Backstage at the Lincoln with the E-Flat Jazz Band. Dracula continues at BalletMet. Columbus’ first original trucker play, Semi-Fame: The Truck Route to Broadway shows at Short North Stage throughout the weekend. Opera Columbus presents Opera on Edge at Shadowbox Live and you can get a BOGO ticket with code. CATCO’s performance of Elephant Man continues, giving an unsparing look at cruelty.

    Downtown hosts a Veterans Day parade. The CIF+VF continues. The Ohio Game Developers Expo (with fun for all!) starts at COSI, and goes through Sunday. Volunteer at the Italian Village Urban Farm. Cartoonist, writer, and educator Dana Walrath comes to the Billy Ireland Cartoonist Library and Museum. Jawga Boyz plays at Alrosa Villa. One Night Only to benefit Jazz Arts Group is held at St. Charles Preparatory School’s Walter Commons. Something Funny This Way Comes opens at Gallery 831. Crafted Drafts hosts a tasting with Columbus’ own Zaftig Brews. Screamers continues at Shadowbox Live. Enjoy a wine dinner. CityMusic Columbus brings the Tizer Trio to The Garden Theater. The Columbus Winter Farmers Market begins at the Whetstone Community Center. Learn to make warming winter beverages at the Ohio Herb Center. The Trulie Awesome Blanket Show is at Feverhead. 934 Gallery has an opening reception for NUDES: Paintings by Jim Morton & Photographs by Will Shively. Old Worthington Library hosts Books & Brews. LGBTFest presents Doc Night as part of CIF+VF. OSU takes on Minnesota at the Ohio Stadium. In honor of Veteran’s Day, The King Arts Complex presents Jazz on the Avenue “The Spirit of our Times“. Heatwave returns to Ace of Cups. Dance at Get Right at Skully’s. Arepazo has a free Flamenco Performance by Oriana Newman.

    Gifts of the Craftsmen opens at the Ohio Craft Museum. The Roosevelt Coffeehouse hosts an Artisan PopUp Shop. Battling Batten Disease 5K and Family Walk at Scioto Audubon Metro Park. Columbus Jewish Film Festival presents Look At Us Now, Mother at the Drexel. See A Tribute to Joe Cocker: Mad Dog and Englishman at Shadowbox Live.
