    FFOCOL (Film Festival of Columbus) opens tonight at the Gateway Film Center with Heaven Adores You. There will be screenings every day. CATCO’s Forever Plaid continues. Don’t miss Short North Stage’s presentation of Sunset Boulevard. Have you seen the Emerson Burkhart paintings at the Ohio History Center? Find out what building won this year’s James B. Recchie award. The Gallerie is putting on a chef’s collective dinner. ODESZA‘s at A&R Music Bar. Burlesque Biographie continues at Shadowbox. Little Shop of Horrors begins at Wall Street Nightclub.     If you’re still loving music festivals, head to the Fall Campout at Duck Creek. We’ve also got Worst Kept Secret Fest VI at the Dude Locker. Green Lawn Abbey’s popular Spirits and Spells is back…from the grave! Try the Taps of Terror at Columbus Brewing Company Restaurant. Scary Plants continues at Franklin Park Conservatory. Check out the 400 Days PopUp Gallery at 400 West Rich, and swing by the Ohio Art League’s One Night Tribute. Gene Farris brings the party to The Social Room. Shop HighBall costumes. Delta Spirit plays the Newport. Freak Show continues at Shadowbox. We’re in the midst of the Columbus Unscripted Improv Festival. Columbus Italian Festival begins. Actual Brewing has a bottle release party for Festival Ale. The 3rd Annual Heebie-Jeebie is at the Gateway Film Center, as well as Nightmares from the Crypt, and Hitchcocktober. Do some swing dancing. Anthropologie opens in the Short North. The Blood Run is happening in the Arena District.

    Moonlight Market returns to Gay Street. The Blue Jackets have their season home opener against the Rangers. It’s time again for the Mini-Maker Faire, happening at COSI. Don’t miss Landfall at Mershon Auditorium. Oakland Nursery celebrates the season with their Fall Fest. Doing the Ohio Zombie Run? Or, donate blood instead. Learn about the mural on the Cooke Rd. I-71 underpass. Wholly Craft turns 9 and is having a party! It’s the last day to get to the Hilltop’s Cream & Sugar before they close up for the season. Art & Money, as well as children’s picture books, continue at the CMA and stop by for the free Sunday at Central Concert. See the Young Art Collectors exhibit at Tacocat. Learn how and which weeds to eat during Too Many Cooks at Wild Goose Creative. See Evo at Shadowbox. Dodge Recreation Center hosts Race for the Puck. 16-Bit is having a kids’ afternoon. Studio 35 has a beer tasting and a movie, showing Tremors.
