Marshalls Adding Lennox Town Center Location

While a lot of retail news in 2017 has been about closures, downsizing and bankruptcy, not all of the news is bad. Several traditional shopping companies have announced growth plans, and Massachusetts-based Marshalls is one of those businesses.

The company recently broke ground on a new location at the Lennox Town Center on Olentangy River Road, which will replace a small parking area in between Target and Famous Footwear. The new store will be the sixth in Central Ohio.

Parent company TJX (which also operates T.J. Maxx and HomeGoods stores) announced plans in February to expand their footprint of stores by 1,800 in the coming years, bringing the global total number of stores to 5,600. The company is also planning to launch a new home goods store, though no further details about locations or concept have been announced as of yet.
