Lydia Loveless is on a path to rising fame and will be performing with her band at the Rumba Café tonight for the hometown record release of Indestructible Machine. She’s been making music since the age of 14 when she played bass in her sister’s band. Now at 21, she “combines country classicism with punk rock candor—sometimes within the same song.” Although all of the bonus comic strips illustrating the “Origin of Lydia Loveless” are spoken for, you can purchase her album here. Listen to the podcast with Patradio here. Lydia will be doing an in-store performance at Lost Weekend Records, prior to the show at Rumba Café. A full list of tour dates is here. You can listen to her interview/performance with 90.5 WCBE at 11:00am today. Congratulations to her and the band on all of the great press they have been getting and have a great time on the rest of your tour!

Thanks for the write-up Anne!
