Local Chefs Once Again James Beard Semi-Finalists
Columbus once again has two outstanding chefs in the running for a James Beard Award. Chef Kent Rigsby of Rigsby’s Kitchen and Chef Magdiale Wolmark of Dragonfly Neo-V have both earned distinction in the Best Chefs of America: Best Chef: Great Lakes category. Cleveland’s Eric Williams of Momocho and Zachary Bruell of L’Albatros as well as Dayton’s Anne Kearney of Rue Dumaine also represent our state as semi-finalists in the same category. Cleveland is also represented in the Rising Star Chef of the Year by Jonathon Sawyer of The Greenhouse Tavern and Outstanding Restaurant for Lola with Michael Symon getting a nod for Outstanding Chef.
