From CMH Gourmand:
LNS: Late Night Slice
I was driving north on High Street – trying to explain the concept of hipsters to my Nascar Hippie co-pilot by pointing out examples strolling, stumbling and strutting along the street. My head did a double take a couple times, but locked on to a small shack with a neon sign, a cluster of tables and young people engaged in food consumption. If it was not 11:00 at night I would have thought it was a picnic.
Circling around for a better look I spied a neon pizza sign and knew some sampling was in order.

Roland mentioned this place as “coming soon” about a month ago. Good to hear it’s open! :D
On Monday night they were also projecting a kung-fu movie on the wall. I´m already a fan.
These guys were open for Gallery Hop two weeks ago and we stopped by for a bite.
They were all very friendly and they had South Park projecting on the wall. Badass.
Anyway, I love the vibe of the place, so cool tucked in that little parking lot.
Pizza was delicious too. We had the pepperoni. The slices are large, you definitely have to fold them to eat properly, and it’s very greasy (in a good way :).
Our pepperonis were curled up and super crispy, forming little grease bowls. Probably not too healthy, but man did it taste good at 11PM.
I imagine that if you were out late drinking and stumbling home, this place would be heaven on earth. We had a great time. Good food, awesome vibe, really nice staff. We’ll definitely be going back.
Great addition to the neighborhood.
Those signs are so much fun–especially the one that says “We do not recommend this establishment if you’re in a hurry, sensitive, or accident-prone!” Awesome!
We walked by last Saturday after the Music Co-Op party and it was the first time I’d noticed it. They looked to be open, but we didn’t stop.
The large “droopy” slices sound like they’re “New York style.” Can anyone confirm or deny this??
If by NY-style you mean wide, thin, slices that are best folded, then yep. That’s what they’re serving.
I want pizza!!!
We stopped by around 3am last night (this morning) and grabbed a slice. Wasn’t too bad. $3 per slice seemed a slight bit high for what it was, but the service was quick and speedy and friendly, so I’d say that made it worth while. The only other real late-night pizza option is Hounddog’s and you couldn’t pay me $20 to go eat pizza in that place at 3am on a Friday night. :P
They were projecting The Big Lebowski up on the wall. We arrived in time to watch the last 2 minutes and then the credits started rolling.
