Kit and Ace Coming Soon to The Short North

Vancouver-based Kit and Ace is a new men’s and women’s luxury apparel shop that got a quick start in 2014 with seven locations across Canada, as well as New York and San Francisco. The continued expansion will bring a shop to Columbus soon, with a store slated for The Short North.

“Our shop in Columbus is located at 17 East Brickel Street and will be just over 1,000 square feet in size,” confirmed Anna Cordon, PR & Communications Specialist at Kit and Ace.

The store was created by Shannon Wilson, a former lead designer at Lululemon who created some of the company’s most successful products. The company focuses on high-tech fabrics and materials that combine the functionality of performance wear with the trendy casual designs. Kit and Ace has been in the news recently for their “Technical Cashmere”, a custom fabric blend that is machine washable.

The small retail storefront at 17 East Brickel was most recently home to HOMAGE, which relocated to a larger space on High Street last fall. The space was also once home to Tigertree, before they also grew onto High Street. If that trend continues, we might expect to see Kit and Ace make its way to High Street as well.
