Winners for the 2012 James Beard Foundation Book Awards were announced tonight. Jeni Britton Bauer’s book Jeni’s Splendid Ice Creams At Home was nominated in the Baking & Dessert category. Earlier tonight, Jeni updated on Facebook with a picture of her medal (right) and, “We got it.”
Congratulations Jeni! Here’s a picture of her accepting her award. What a great moment for her, her family, Team Jeni’s and all of Columbus!

Don’t need a foundation to tell me Jeni’s is awesome. Great that her cookbook is well received too.
