The Neighborhood Design Center announced on Friday that Isabela Gould will be taking on the role of Executive Director at the organization, replacing outgoing director Al Berthold. Prior to this position at the NDC, Gould was a lecturer at OSU’s Knowlton School of Architecture and the founder of Gould Design Studios in Worthington.
“Isabela carries a strong interest in a collaborative, interdisciplinary approach to teaching and practice that involves students and professionals in projects supporting communities in need,” stated NDC Architectural Designer Lisa Snyder in a release issued on Friday. “Her work includes courses that investigate design opportunities between community partners, as well as the ‘Mobile City Farmstead’ project, which won the AIA Chicago Unbuilt Architecture Design Award in 2008.”
The Neighborhood Design Center is a nonprofit entity that provides affordable design services to small businesses, neighborhood associations and government municipalities throughout Central Ohio. Their services includes architectural design, landscape design, city planning services, graphic design and more.
